Washington State and their first Animal Overpass
I'm big into animal protection and animal rights and and this concept just thrills me to no end.
Big props to Washington Sate government for funding this project.
While not a fix all/cure all solution.
It certainly will not hurt either
And honestly, its nice to see a government body do something for animals so they don't have disasterous interaction with mankind.
Here in Ontario, Candad the provincial government policy just seems to be shoot the animal dead on sight and that way its not a problem now and will never be in the futire.
I can not express how much utter and complete disgust I hold toward Kathleen Wynne and her Ontario Provincial Government for how they mistreat and destroy wild animals (and domestic ones) as a cure all solution.
So big props to Washington State for doing something the right way!

Clearly someone gets it.
Zero of the Week
So I wanted to come up with some thought provoking and cleaver topic or person for Zero of the week. And there was no shortage of candidates from ISIS and the multiple deaths over 3 different countries they tied to. Justin Trudeau or Thomas Mulcaire for STILL NOT UNDERSTANDING ISIS is a real threat and you just cant hug them and have a chat with them. The Alberta NDP and the continued realization they belong to anti Oil Sand lobby groups which makes it a clear cut conflict of interest with them now governing the very same oil sands. To just how petty and lack of class Toronto media and sports fans behave and speak in regards to other Canadian sport markets.
Lots to choose from.
But in the end one specific image, that is so vile, nasty, disgusting, and generally unthinkable, keeps coming to mind.
I do not know who invented this
But if ever the title of Zero applied
It applies to the person who made this unthinkable disaster of a product

Some things should just be not invented or thought up!
Tech of the Week
Now normally the Tech of Week posting will have something to do with robotics, augmentations, or even computers as that's where my main level of interest falls under. And in this day and age there is not shortage of tech to talk about in those topics. We are making amazing advancements in all those areas with new advancements coming faster and faster and faster.
But sometimes you just have to go to the old standby of space exploration.
NASA's New Horizon Spacecraft will be taking our first up close pictures of Pluto in the very near future.
And that's exciting.
I still maintain that so many of our own problems can be answered in part or full by exploring the other worlds of our galaxy. From raw materials to planetary cycles to understanding different eco systems (and then building greater understanding of our own).
These will just be pictures but we have to start somewhere after all.
